blacker than<br />
eye sockets<br />
the Poroma riverbed<br />
mourns their<br />
sojourn – detour<br />
number four off<br />
the Panamerican Highway<br />
Nazca to Cahuachi<br />
if you please<br />
if you believe<br />
in etching geoglyphs<br />
with God’s toes.
