29 TH ANNUAL BF ADAM GOLF CLASSIC
RAISES $135,000 FOR CFEF
The CFISD community raised approximately $135,000 for student
scholarships through the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) 29 th
annual BF Adam Golf Classic, held May 11 th at BlackHorse Golf Club.
The annual event, named after longtime CFISD school Board member
and elementary school namesake Bernard Fred (BF) Adam, contributes
to the CFEF mission of increasing college access for CFISD
graduates by awarding scholarships.
The North Course winner was Purcell Construction, Inc., shooting
a score of 55. Team members were Larry Purcell, Jed Purcell, David
Ortego and Roy Sprague. The North Course Longest Drive winner was
Randy Crowder and the Closest to the Hole winner was Mark Miller.
The Stik-It Closest to the Hole winner was Rich Guderyon.

Bear Creek United Methodist Church School (BCUMCS) has been a
leading preschool in this community for more than 30 years. We offer
a developmentally appropriate program for children in a Christian
environment. BCUMCS is currently taking applications for a limited
number of openings for the 2017-18 school year. BCUMCS serves children
from 12 months through Kindergarten with options for two, three
or four day classes. We offer a Transition or Bridge class for children
who need an additional year to grow before entering Kindergarten.
Our Kindergarten meets five days, offers small student/teacher ratios,
individualized instruction and special events that reinforce basic
concepts. It is a special ‘Year of Magic’ for kindergartners. For more
