Fourth Convocation of <strong>Birsa</strong><br />
<strong>Agricultural</strong> <strong>University</strong><br />
was held on February<br />

Farook, His Excellency<br />
the Governor cum<br />
Chancellor of Universities<br />
of Jharkhand presided over<br />
the function and delivered<br />
the convocation address<br />
while Agriculture Minister<br />
Mathura Prasad Mahto was<br />
the guest of honour.<br />
Altogether 461 students passing different graduate and postgraduate examinations were presented<br />
degrees while 25 students were awarded <strong>University</strong> Gold Medals also.<br />
The 461 students who were awarded degrees included Ph D (Ag)-17, Ph D (Vety)-6, M Sc (Ag)-54, M<br />
Sc (Biotech)-16, MBA (Agribusiness)-4, M Sc (Forestry)-15, MV Sc-79, B Sc (Ag)-132, B Sc (Forestry)-23<br />
and BV Sc &AH-115.
