Read - Isaiah 12:1-6
• Which phrase best describes how I feel about all that awaits believers in eternity?
I am just glad I'm not going to hell
What I know of eternity in Heaven actually sounds kind of boring
I find great comfort/excitement when I think about eternity with God
• Isaiah was so excited about God's promise of future blessings for the people of Israel that he wrote a song of praise to
be sung at that time. Gentile believers will also enjoy these future blessings!
Romans 5:10a
• How does this verse and Isaiah 12:1 describe my relationship with God before salvation in Jesus Christ?
"For we cannot but
speak the things
which we have seen
and heard."
- Acts 4:20
•After believing in the person and work of Jesus, I am reconciled to God. Reconciliation means
change. My relationship with God changes from that of an enemy to that of a child of God.
•Write a prayer thanking God for your reconciled relationship with Him.
Isaiah 12:4-5
• In that day, I will be so moved by the work and character of God that I will proclaim Him publicly.
• Personal testimony is an effective way of "making known His deeds among the peoples."
• Who will I share my testimony, the story of God's work in my life, with this week?
• How will I communicate with this person?
face to face
