weekly newspaper, <strong>The</strong> Canadian Parvasi.<br />

I also want to acknowledge the team of journalists and staff<br />

who help ensure that the popular and widely read Parvasi<br />

Newspaper gets produced, printed and into the hands of<br />

devoted readers.<br />

This is truly an important milestone and I would like to<br />

commend the team of professionals for committing yourselves<br />

to journalistic excellence. Your reads rely on your coverage to<br />

stay engaged and informed about local and international issues.<br />

20<strong>17</strong> marks the 150th anniversary of Confederation and our country’s founding, which<br />

is an important milestone in our nation’s proud history.<br />

Since then, Canada has grown to become a globally-respected country that safeguards<br />

and embodies the unwavering values of peace, order and democracy - here at home -<br />

and in peace keeping efforts undertaken around the world.<br />
