CEO in his Recurring Message to ARASCANS<br />

ARASCO is one of the initial companies<br />

in supporting the country , s orientation to<br />

nationalize job positions in the Kingdom.<br />

Our strategy in employment is fully consistent with<br />

the objectives of the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the<br />

National Transformation Program 2020.<br />

Efforts are still persistence and steps<br />

are accelerating with a full confidence in<br />

the process of nationalizing job positions<br />

in the Kingdom through subrogating<br />

qualified Saudi cadres within both public<br />

and private sectors in order to conform<br />

with the Kingdom Vision 2030 and<br />

the National Transformation Program<br />

2020, which aims at providing 220<br />

thousand job opportunities for the Saudi<br />

manpower annually. This will be within<br />

ambitious programs to Saudization of<br />

job positions in all economic, service<br />

and development sectors. Ministry of<br />

Labor and the competent authorities<br />

have managed until now from achieving<br />

abilities success in this regard, as the<br />

Ministry have made jobs nationalization<br />

programs a main objective in all its current<br />

and future plans. In the same direction,<br />

Human Resources Development Fund in<br />

the Kingdom is working on supporting<br />

such efforts and maintaining the Saudis<br />

males and females rights in getting the<br />

appropriate job opportunities within<br />

both public and private sectors in line<br />

with the labor systems in the Kingdom.<br />

ARASCO was aware of all programs<br />

related to jobs nationalization in the<br />

Kingdom and supporting the directions<br />

made by the Ministry of Labor and the<br />

competent authorities, as it complies<br />

with the public strategy of the country in<br />

the employment field and enhancing the<br />

exerted efforts in this regard.<br />

Saudis First<br />

Since its establishment in 1983 AD, the<br />

successive managements to ARASCO<br />

kept putting the employment of Saudis<br />

as one of its priorities, which interpret its<br />

national message that aims at enabling<br />

the national cadres from holding<br />

positions in the company and receiving<br />

training that raise the abilities and skills<br />

of those cadres in all fields. The company<br />

further provides outstanding advantages<br />

for its employees, especially the<br />

nationals. The result of such continuous<br />

care is the appearance of distinguished<br />

groups from the Saudi elements that<br />

managed within short time to prove<br />

their presence in all occupied positions<br />

and managed to acquire the necessary<br />

experience from the Arab and foreign<br />

elements that contributed in all stages<br />

of company , s development and they had<br />

clear footprints in all Units. ARASCO is<br />

still working on opening its doors to the<br />

Saudi youth, males and females, in order<br />

to join the company in administrative,<br />

technical and mechanical job positions<br />

in all operational fields. The near future<br />

periods will witness a steady increase<br />

of the local elements rates within the<br />

labor systems in the company in order<br />

to achieve the national objectives<br />

and enhance the jobs nationalization<br />

programs in the Kingdom. This will<br />

happen according to systematic plan<br />

emerging from the constant convictions<br />

of the management concerning the<br />

importance of hard work to execute the<br />

Saudization programs through organized<br />

steps that make the assimilated Saudi<br />

elements in the company qualitative<br />

additions in its production sectors. This<br />

direction starts to appear evidently<br />

in the estimated numbers of national<br />

employees who belong to ARASCO<br />

during the recent years.<br />

Saudi Leaders<br />

Based on the efforts being exerted by<br />

the country in jobs nationalization and<br />

opening job opportunities for Saudi<br />

nationals, ARASCO strategy came in line<br />

with and supporting to such directions,<br />

and responsive to their plans in<br />

assimilation of qualified national cadres<br />

within the various units of the company.<br />

This direction appears through the<br />

extensive programs made by ARASCO<br />

during the past years with the purpose<br />

of replacement that witnessed by the<br />

leading positions in all productive,<br />

operative and logistics units of the<br />

company; whereas those positions<br />

have been Saudized with an estimated<br />

percentage until now. This direction<br />

that is adopted by the company is not<br />

limited to the leading positions that<br />

include Vice Presidents and Presidents<br />

as Units , heads only, but the company<br />

is moving forward in the nationalization<br />

process with all labor, technical, etc.<br />

Future Steps<br />

Nowadays ARASCO, which is classified<br />

among the paramount hundred Saudi<br />

companies, is working and seeking<br />

according to its strategies to be the<br />

main source of the food supply chain<br />

in the Gulf and the Middle East by<br />

2020 based on the massive expansion<br />

programs witnessed by the company in<br />

all its Units. In the meantime, ARASCO<br />

pays special attention to provide extra<br />

job opportunities to Saudi youth in<br />

coordination with the universities<br />

and organizations in relation with<br />

education and training seeking to raise<br />

the graduates , abilities, develop the<br />

national efficiencies and maximize its<br />

contribution in enhancing the national<br />

economy growth.<br />
