HOMEMADE ICED COFFEE
When making iced coffee at
home, do not use the traditional method
of simply making the coffee and pouring
it over ice cubes. This tends to water the
coffee. An alternative method that works
much better is to brew some coffee, then
pour the coffee into the slots of a common
ice cube tray. This will allow the iced coffee
cubes to keep your coffee from becoming
too watered down.
AVOID ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS
Use artificial sweeteners? Often
artificial sweeteners will make the coffee
have a bland taste. If taking your coffee black
isn’t an option, try using a little raw sugar.
If you still prefer an artificial sweetener, at
least try settling for just half a packet.
TRY SPECIALTY BLENDS
If you cannot find a variety of
coffee that offers the flavor you desire,
try a blend that combines several
flavors. Specialty coffee shops can help
you to choose the best blends for your
preferences and may also be able to offer
you a sample before you buy in bulk.
CHARCOAL FILTERED WATER
When you brew coffee, use water that has been charcoal filtered.
You can purchase a charcoal water filter for your sink so that all your tap
water is filtered by charcoal. You can also buy coffee makers with builtin
filters. Another option is buying charcoal filtered bottle water at the store.
If you didn’t know anything about coffee before reading this article, you do now. Coffee
may appear complicated, but once you learn the basics, it’s pretty easy. Keep the tips
from above in mind to make the best coffee.
