Balik Eskwela :
Barangay Tabako

O
ur club did it again. Last July
21, 2017, we successfully
completed, together with the spouses,
the balik eskwela in Purok
Tabako, Puntod. We fed and distributed
food packs and school supplies
to 100 kids, enrolled in the kindergarten,
of St. John Elementary School, a
DSWD Supervised School in one of
the needy barangays in the city.
We were graced with the attendance
of six Rotarians, with no less than
PDG Constantino "Tinnex" Jaraula, leading the group. Present were our very active RTN
President Tonyboy Fernandez, PAG Manny Alinabon, VP Julius Dulfo, Dir. Leoncio
Quicoy, and PVP Tony dela Cruz, The spouse led by President Angie Dael, showed support
by braving the heat and the mud, not to mention the scary "trisikad" ride traversing
the narrow pathways, towards
the destination.
The ladies in red, PDG Lady Linda
Caragos, PDG Lady Biema Along, PP
Ching Sarraga, PP Malou dela Cruz,
PP Juvy Sarraga, PP Vicky Blanco,
PVP Aida Gonzaga, PD Monette
Romero, and Dir. Ann Fernandez,
had the best time of their lives.
They were all smiles amidst the humid
condition, as they watch the
mothers, who presented two dance,
sing and act numbers as celebration
of July as nutrition month.
It was indeed a happy occasion for those who attended, and from our end. . . . .
"Thank you" will never suffice, the support you have shared in terms of time, treasure,
and talent, will always be cherished. Looking forward to another project in the offing.
