FED REPORT August 2017 Model you prepared when you were at 1, it won’t look good anymore to you. So, you will tweak it to match your new knowledge. However, you haven’t stopped learning yet. You find yet another useful tool/ technique/concept that you didn’t know before and now your acumen is 4. Naturally, you would want to re-tweak Variable #1 because Variable #2 has changed. I’m sure you get my point. People can spend months and years on balancing these 2 variables. Unfortunately, 80% run out of time, money, energy, patience and lot more before they could balance those 2 variables. They burn-out! But it’s all part of learning and growing, isn’t it? Really! So, let’s say you have $1000 to spend on your business. You spend it all in digital marketing without any guidance or mentorship from anyone. You got zero leads. No body called. No body enquired. $1000, puff… gone! You turn the lemon into lemonade by saying, at least I know what mistakes I made. I learned valuable lessons. I now know what to avoid next time. Once again, seriously, do you call this valuable or learning! By spending $1000 all you know is what not to do. You still have no clue how to make even $10 by spending $1000. Next time you will avoid this mistake and will make another one. Lack of cash-flow is number one reason for most businesses to go out of business. If you put this $1000 in bank, then even there you will get at least a 5% return. If you can’t even convert $1000 $1050 then what exactly are you learning?… Million ways to spend $1000!
