These works by Brighton-based artist
Patrick O’Donnell can currently be seen at
Eastbourne’s Towner Art Gallery in their
Sussex Open exhibition, which brings
together the best artists from across the
Sussex region. These recent charcoal works
focus on the formal elements of shape,
edge/line and tone that are responses to
places O’Donnell has visited – in this
