Mobileye is the Biggest-Ever<br />
Israeli IPO in the United States<br />
Mobileye technology, with its patented EyeQ chip,<br />
prevents automobile collisions from happening and<br />
saves lives. The revolutionary technology was invented<br />
by Amnon Shashua, the Sachs Family Professor of<br />
Computer Sciences, who founded Mobileye.<br />
In August <strong>2014</strong>, the start-up company raised a recordbreaking<br />
$890 million in its initial public offering on<br />
NASDAQ. Mobileye software is being installed in millions<br />
of vehicles from BMW, Mercedes, Ford and other<br />
manufacturers, keeping drivers safe by alerting them<br />
to unintended lane departures or potential collisions.<br />

Professor Marta Weinstock-Rosin, the Leon and<br />
Minna Deutsch Chair of Psychopharmacology and<br />

for developing the blockbuster drug Exelon and<br />
other pharmaceutical treatments for Alzheimer’s and<br />

Professor Jaacov Katan, the Buck Family<br />
Professor Emeritus of Plant Pathology and a Hebrew<br />
University alumnus, was honored for developing an<br />
environmentally safe, solar energy-based method to<br />
manage soil-borne pests.<br />
Professor Haim Levy<br />
Professor Haim Levy, the Myles S. Robinson Professor<br />
Emeritus, Jerusalem School of Business Administration,<br />
was recognized for innovations in political science,<br />
managerial science and international relations, including<br />
new methods for analyzing decision-making and risk<br />
