Recurring daily - Mercer Botanic Gardens. The arboretum and botanic<br />
gardens are divided by Aldine Westfield Road. On the east side is the<br />
botanic gardens where over 20 acres of beautifully maintained gardens<br />
feature bamboo, color displays, daylilies, endangered species, ferns,<br />
gingers, herbs, tropicals, to name a few. The east side also has an extensive<br />
walking trail system, a remembrance Walk for memorials and honorariums,<br />
ponds, a visitors’ center, courtyard plaza, plus much more. The arboretum<br />
on the west side of Aldine Westfield features two playgrounds, a picnic area<br />
nestled in a woodland setting with 58 picnic tables, two barbecue pavilions,<br />
hickory bog, boardwalk, cypress swamp, maple collection and several<br />
miles of walking trails that wind through beautifully preserved woodlands.<br />

Tickets can be purchased in one of three ticket stations located at the<br />
Festival Gate and around the stage. Admission for adults is $5, children<br />
under 12 and senior citizens above 65 are free. Festival tickets are $2.50<br />

<strong>September</strong> 16 th - Salsa Y Salud. Texas’ biggest live Salsa and<br />
Dance show! A fully staged theatrical production features international,<br />
regional and local artists, an original production guaranteed to make you<br />
dance! Salsa y Salud combines high energy music with soulful dancing<br />
and specially arranged music...many of the show’s selections being<br />
world premieres. Original choreography and a cast of over 40 make this a<br />
