A RECENT STUDY REAFFIRMS THAT GARDENING
BENEFITS BOTH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH,
REDUCES STRESS LEVELS, INCREASES RELAXATION AND
IMPROVES OVERALL FITNESS.
2016 report, Gardens and Health*, found that the

diverse, and have shown significant reductions in depression

This concurs with other studies and researchers from University
College London (2013) discovered that seniors, who
did moderate physical activity such as gardening, at least once
a week, were two-and-a-half times less likely to develop longterm
illnesses.
