Be Job-Creators rather than Job-Seekers: President to Youth
The present problem of unemployment can only be
solved when more youngsters aspire to become job
creators rather than be content with finding a job, said
Chief Guest, Sri K. Ravi, President, FKCCI chairing a
two-day Workshop on Entrepreneurship & Small
Business Development organized by Karnataka Arya
Vysya Mahasabha with PETHAT team on behalf of
NIESBUD (The National Institute of Entrepreneurship
and Small Business Development under Ministry
of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, GOI) at
Sir MV Auditorium on August 4-5.
Addressing the young participants, Ravi said
“Entrepreneurship is an idea, an entrepreneur is an
ideator, and ending unemployment is the ideal,” and
said while there are many hurdles to cross and
challenges to face, that should not inhibit them from
foraying ahead, as the rewards that awaited them
would not only more than compensate their sweat
and toil, but be a turning point in their life, from where
there was no looking back.
The 2-day workshop was followed by a 15-day
E Learning Certification Programme for the trainees
who included a cross-section of Students, Business
owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. The topics
covered during the 15-day workshop ranged from the
current traditional businesses to tech-based and
futuristic Business models.
Sri N.S. Srinivasa Murthy, Past President, FKCCI
interacted with the trainees who were given
participation certificates at the end of the workshop.
