Taapsee Pannu will be seen playing a
self-defence instructor in an upcoming
short film, says its director and
producer Kapil Verma.
The story of the film revolves around
the relationship between two siblings.
Vicky Arora plays the brother in the
film.
Verma says he had a great time
shooting the film with Taapsee, who
went through a training session to get
the physical nuances of her character

“I narrated the script to her in
Mauritius on the sets of Judwaa 2 and
at the end of the narration, she asked
me ‘When would you like to shoot it?’

had a great time shooting, it was fun

Indian actress Priyanka Chopra has
joined the list of presenters like Reese
Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene
Woodley and Matt Bomer for the 69th
Primetime Emmy Awards.
Priyanka, who rose to fame in the
West with her TV show Quantico, will
be attending the annual award gala
for the second time. Last year, she
presented an award with actor Tom
Hiddleston, and was applauded for her
fashion sense as she opted for a red
chiffon dress and twirled around at her
debut appearance.
Priyanka hasn’t been nominated in
any category for the Emmys this year.
This year’s Emmy Awards will be
broadcast live from the Microsoft
Theater here. Stephen Colbert will
serve as host. Witherspoon, Kidman
and Adam Scott, who were already
announced as presenters, will be joined
by more of their “Big Little Lies” cast
members: Laura Dern, Woodley, and
Zoë Kravitz.
The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards
will be held on September 17. It will
be simulcast live in India on Star
World, Star World HD and Star World
Premiere HD on September 18.

As you all know that destruction
caused by hurricane Irma has left a

in murky waters, Branson's private
island wasn't bestowed with any
mercy.
Branson took it to twitter to share
pictures of his luxurious island that
has turned into a devastated wreck. In
a series of tweets, the founder of Virgin
Airlines shared pictures of his Necker
Island and other surrounding British
Virgin Islands that were hit by Irma.
He shared pictures of the island
and described it as 'huge' showcasing
images of fallen trees, broken
infrastructure and destroyed
furniture.
He also said that the resorts were
decimated but thankfully, everyone
seems to be okay. "The boats are piled
up like matchsticks in the harbour.
Huge cargo ships were thrown out
of the water and into rocks. Resorts
have been decimated. The houses

CBFC Orders 10 Cuts

Certification (CBFC) has reportedly
ordered as many as 10 cuts in the film.

Chronicle’.

been reportedly cut by the CBFC in
the film includes the usage of the word
‘bitch’ in as many as six places. And the
reason stated was that the word was
derogatory towards the women folks..

CBFC officials felt that the sound effect
of the love making scene looked much
more provocative than it actually
was. opined that the said word was
derogatory towards the women folks.
