Age Categories – Drivers-Passenger<br />
• 5-8 years<br />
• 9-11 years<br />
• 12-15 years<br />

Construction Materials<br />
Must be constructed out of recycled materials, no<br />
new parts!<br />
Construction and Design<br />
Construction and design may be performed by any<br />
members of the local church for all age categories.<br />
Billy Cart can be suitable for one occupant only or<br />
two occupants, a driver and passenger. These can<br />
sit in front and behind or side by side.<br />
Rules<br />
• Safety is paramount<br />
• Track length will vary for different age categories.<br />
• Helmets must be worn by Driver and Passenger.<br />
• Knee guards and elbow guards must be worn<br />
by Driver and Passenger.<br />
• Protective clothing such as long sleeves and<br />
long trousers should be worn by Driver and<br />
Passenger.<br />
• Team members may push start Billy kart.<br />
Scrutineering<br />
All carts will be subject to scrutineering on Village<br />
Fair day. Any carts deemed not to be safe will be<br />
given an opportunity to rectify and submit again<br />
for scrutineering. Carts must have brakes, effective<br />
steering and wheels.<br />
Course<br />
The course will be pre-set down hill course adjusted<br />
for each age category. It will consist of straights,<br />
chicanes and jumps.<br />
