WNNA-Using AI to Reprogram
Internet Experiences
The face of SEO is changing. In this
new age of digital marketing and
ecommerce, seamless experiences can
be created across channels, making
happy customers with intuitive
suggestions, excellent customer service
and spot on recommendations, and
crowning it all by sending real-time
personalized messages. A decade ago,
search engine marketers could create
a site with some keywords in specific
places, drop some links around the
web, and start ranking within a short
amount of time. But the web has grown
tremendously since that time, and now
these methods are no longer in vogue.
Instead of focusing on keywords, search
engine algorithms attempt now to
“understand” your content, taking that
evolution of personalization further to
show that its not just about acquiring big
data - it’s about the innovative ways to
use that data. Businesses and analysts
who are proactively working to give their
customers the best experience possible
are approaching the internet in a totally
different manner.
Bahrain-based WNNA wants to
make the internet more personal
with Artificial Intelligence. WNNA
recommends activities you could do
based on decisions you would usually
make. Activities may include listening
to music, watching movies, eating food,
visiting attractions and so on. It does this
by scurrying through different sources
over the internet, getting you only the
information you would regularly use to
make decisions (show timings, rating,
traffic) and in real-time, and then do
more with the information (book tables
or tickets, request an Uber and so on).
The cool thing is that, apart from
excluding the meta-data you won’t
use from vertical sources and doing
more with the recommendation WNNA
provides, it learns your previous
decisions and behavior and then
provides recommendations based on
them. It can recommend the kind of
movies you would like to watch or the
food you like to have during certain
weather or the time you usually prefer
doing so.
