Ahr valley evening wine
tasting
Join our coach as we venture
into the most northerly
winemaking region in Germany
to enjoy an evening of wine
tasting. The grapes that
grow here on steep, terraced
vineyards make glowing, velvety
red wines which are among the
best of their kind. It’s a tradition
established by the Romans and
one that continues to this day.
Amsterdam city tour
Our city tour is aboard a tourist
bus with a fully transparent roof
(which opens in good weather),
offering panoramic views of the
city, canals, squares and main
attractions.
Antwerp
The age-old affair between man
and diamond is evident around
the world, but nowhere is it
more palpable than in the city
of Antwerp. With the help of
our guide, we are shown around
the diamond district, the 17th
century Ruben house and central
square in the old town.
Appeltern Gardens
A walk through this 23-hectare
park is an experience for all the
senses. There is a free audio tour
if you are interested in the story
behind Appeltern and want an
extra explanation about the
gardens, or you can simply enjoy
the quiet, the space and the
nature. Whichever you choose,
you’re almost certain to come
away with some fantastic ideas
for your own garden.
Castle Arcen & gardens
Visit the most beautiful
gardens of the Netherlands and
experience ancient times on a
guided tour of the castle which
dates from the 17th century.
The huge 42-hectare garden is
a delight to explore with areas
that resemble Japan, Italy and
Thailand, along with woodland
and tropical gardens.
Colmar & the alluring
Alsace
The Alsace region of France is
unquestionably beautiful, with a
special combination of history,
culture, scenery and gastronomy.
Our excursion visits the wine
capital of Colmar and the
medieval village of Riquewihr,
which nestle in the Vosges
mountains and are filled with
pretty timber-framed buildings.
We also visit the famous Dopff &
Irion winery in Riquewihr, where
you can visit the cellars and
sample delicious wines.
Cologne guided tour
The Cathedral of Cologne is one
of Germany’s most important
architectural monuments, a
gothic masterpiece which boasts
the highest church spires ever
built, we admire the cathedral
before we explore into the old
town for an insight into the city’s
2,000 year history.
Cologne highlights
With our Cruise Manager we
walk to see the highlights of
Cologne, a city dominated by
the magnificent gothic cathedral,
believed to be Germany’s most
impressive building which took
