Houston Aphasia Recovery Center<br />
HARC, a non-profit wellness facility for persons with aphasia, is looking<br />
for volunteers to help in our programs. HARC is located at 3701 Briarpark<br />
Drive, Suite #310, Houston 77042, which is just inside of Beltway 8 in the<br />
Westchase district of town. We offer training and support to all of our<br />
volunteers. Volunteer days and times are flexible based on need. For more<br />

Healthbridge Volunteering<br />
HealthBridge Children’s Hospital, www.healthbridgehouston.com, located<br />
in the Westchase District of Houston is looking for volunteers. Our 40 bed<br />
pediatric facility helps children ages 0-21 years of age as they transition<br />
from hospital to home. Volunteers can assist our team with direct patient<br />
interactions (play, baby holding, reading, mentoring) and indirect patient<br />
care (greeters, phone reception and administrative tasks). Volunteer hours<br />

Help For Charities<br />
Calling on all the quilters in the area to help make pillowcases and small<br />
blankets. This last year we donated over 200 pillowcases and small<br />
blankets to various charities. The demand is even higher with all of the<br />
families that have lost their homes because of the fires in and around<br />
our area. We need you and we have fabric that has been donated but we<br />
need your hands and time to make someone smile. If you would like to<br />
