TRADESMEN'S STALLS<br />
The village bazaar bustled with<br />
activity. Many merchants were<br />
busy crafting their wares when<br />
customers called on them. The<br />
shop of blacksmiths, carpenters<br />
and potters have been functioning<br />
workshops. The blacksmith<br />
would have a blazing fire to heat<br />
the metal that he would form into<br />
tools using his hammer and anvil.<br />
Nearby he would have a pool<br />
of water where newly fashioned<br />
implements would be cooled. The<br />
carpenter would work amidst the<br />
saws, chisels, planes, hammers<br />
and wood he would use to create<br />
furnishings. The potter would<br />
hand form the clay and work into<br />
everyday houseware such as<br />
dishes, plates, cups and pots.<br />
