1 Peter 4:10 … With whatever Gifts<br />

“Serve one another with whatever Gift each of you has Received.”<br />

While we each have scintillatingly unique Gifts that only we can use <strong>to</strong> serve<br />
others, this verse communicates the general Truth that we are simply <strong>to</strong> Give<br />
whatever we have <strong>to</strong> Give -- wherever we already are, for whom is already nearest<br />
by … Indeed, we are never <strong>to</strong> “wait for a better time” <strong>to</strong> Give, nor are we ever <strong>to</strong><br />
“learn more” before Giving or “search for true Purpose” before Giving either. We<br />
never have anything “more important <strong>to</strong> do” than <strong>to</strong> reach out boldly in<strong>to</strong> the lives<br />
of those around us – <strong>to</strong> bring them Kindness; <strong>to</strong> bring them Peace: <strong>to</strong> bring them<br />
Joy; <strong>to</strong> bring them Love.<br />
And indeed, in a society as screwed up (i.e. as founded on – and sadly, as<br />
appreciative of – fear) as ours currently is, even the smallest deed of self-sacrificial<br />
Goodness is perceived as something amazing – and thus has an amazing effect on<br />
others; both on the one <strong>to</strong> whom it is given, as well as <strong>to</strong> all those blessed <strong>to</strong><br />
witness the same.<br />
Amen … Let it be so.<br />
