COLOUR + TEXTURE TOOL KIT
CLIMBING TREES |
Following the pattern of palette from the
natural surroundings, we proposed adjusting
the finishes with subtle tweaks to colour and
texture as we transcend through the building and
metaphorically climb the trees of New Walk.
PALETTE OVERVIEW |
A serene palette of natural colour and texture
injected with vibrant reds and deep, rich greens
and burgundy to create a depth, light and shadewith
a gradient of soft to powerful colour balance.
Each colour is offset by a naturally patterned
carpet tile to provide a biophillic connection, with
light and dark timbers assisting in softening the
overall aesthetic.

CREATING A SENSE OF PLACE - LOCAL

Taking the lead from the MW Newmarket office
who sponser the Cambridge Art Fair and in
support of local businesses and artists we propose
a collaboration with the LSA - Leicester Society of
Art to provide artwork depicting local faces and
landscapes. Example left BY Leicester based artist
Emma Fitzpatrick depicts Granby Street, Leicester
which tonely and stylistically marries with the
proposed finishes palette.
