The O2
Activities are not just restricted to the interior of the venue;
Up at The O2 is an experience that allows visitors the
opportunity to climb the roof of the venue along a platform
suspended between the building’s masts, where the views
are spectacular, but be warned, this is not for the faint hearted.
Alongside an 11 screen cinema and myriad restaurants and
bars, The O2 has a range of other event spaces including
Building Six and IndigO2, a 2,920 capacity space used for
smaller music events, comedy shows, club nights, after show
parties and corporate and private events. It boasts four bars,
a VIP lounge and has seen acts like Craig David, Hed Kandi
and the X-Factor boot camp sessions.
Transport connections to The O2 are well considered, but the
most enjoyable means of getting there are the Thames Clippers
operated boat service and the Emirates Air Line cable car, which
provides easy access between ExCeL London and The O2.
