BOLD & BRASSY…SWEET & SASSY<br />

February 10, 2018 at 2p the Symphony<br />

will present BOLD & BRASSY…SWEET &<br />

SASSY opening with Copland’s Fanfare for the<br />

Common Man. Kate Prestia-Schaub, flutist,<br />

will perform Carmen Fantasy for Flute and<br />

Orchestra. Two Bagatelles features the brass and<br />

percussion section and the TVS Woodwind<br />

Quintet will perform Sextet for Piano & Woodwind<br />

Quintet by Poulenc. Classical fans will<br />

enjoy Divertimento No. 2 in D major, K.131 by<br />

Mozart, performed by a chamber orchestra and<br />

our outstanding horn section.<br />

CLASSICAL MYSTERY TOUR<br />

The world’s premier Beatles Tribute, CLAS-<br />

SICAL MYSTERY TOUR, will highlight the<br />

season on March 17, 2018 at 2pm. This concert<br />

presents nearly thirty Beatles tunes played by the<br />

band with a live orchestra. They’ve performed<br />

with many major symphonies and now CLASSI-<br />

CAL MYSTERY TOUR is coming to Temecula.<br />

MEDITERRANEAN ODYSSEY<br />

MEDITERRANEAN ODYSSEY will feature<br />

two Spanish Dancers, on España Cani and<br />

Lady of Spain, April 14, 2018 at 2pm. A rare<br />

treat, the symphony will perform Casablanca<br />

Suite, Lawrence of Arabia, and Roman Carnival<br />

Overture and feature the Winner of the 2018<br />

Young Artist Competition.<br />

CHAMPIONS<br />

CHAMPIONS on May 19, 2018 at 2pm,<br />

will showcase the Symphony & Chorus on<br />

Verdi’s crown jewel, the Triumphal March from<br />

Aida with five opera soloists. Enjoy selections<br />

from Spartacus, Princess Leia’s Theme in honor<br />

of actress Carrie Fisher, and the theme from<br />

Magnificent Seven! Veterans have the option to<br />

request free admission as the Symphony features<br />

Fanfare for Life by Vietnam Veteran and composer<br />

Kimo Williams.<br />

PATRIOTIC SALUTE<br />

The Symphony will perform a Patriotic<br />

Salute on November 11 at 6pm for the City of<br />

Temecula on Veterans Day to a large crowd of<br />

over 1,000 people.<br />

Ebenezar Scrooge has grave doubts at first about believing his own eyes. Very soon,<br />

however, he will learn much from the ghosts who would become his companions this<br />
