Collaborative
innovation processes
The successful completion of the research
project “Real-time foresight - preparedness for
dynamic innovation networks” by Dr Christina
Weber facilitated a new foresight method for the
control of innovation networks and a measuring
instrument for innovation processes in real
time. In cooperation with Leiden University and
supported by the Hella Langer Foundation,
research was conducted on how collaborations
can be successful, sustainable and innovative in
spite of great uncertainty and dynamism.
Start-Up Radar
2016
The Munich University of Applied
Sciences and SCE are ranked at first
place in the promotion of start-ups at
German universities. The “Start-Up
Radar” study by the Stifterverband für
die Deutsche Wissenschaft (German
Founders’ Association) on the initiative
of the Federal Ministry of Economics
and Technology (BMWi) compares the
performance of German universities
in the promotion of business start-ups.
With the goal of promoting German-Israeli start-ups,
Google, the Israel Consul General, FOM and the SCE
founded the GIGA Accelerator. After the launch week in
Munich, 3 months of virtual incubation and a closing
week with final pitches will be held for investors in Tel
Aviv. We look forward to exciting cross-culture start-ups!
