We welcome new bridge players of all ages
and levels on Mondays from 1–3:30 p.m.

Driver safety courses
Would you like to lower your auto
insurance costs and reduce points on your
license? We typically host driver safety
courses a few times each year here at
the JCC. See the list of upcoming AARP
classes below. Or, check out our senior

Mah Jongg
Come play Mah Jongg at the JCC on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
at 12:30 p.m. New players are always
welcome! We’re also selling 2018 Mah
Jongg cards as a fundraiser to benefit
our Seniors Program (see article at right).

The JCC’s Neighborhood Advisor Sharon
Kieffer offers outreach, information and
referral services to seniors in the DeWitt,
Fayetteville, Manlius and Jamesville areas.

Order your 2018 Mah Jongg cards!
The Sam Pomeranz Jewish
Community Center is
taking preorders for 2018
National Mah Jongg League
cards. Available in standard
size for $8 and large print
for $9, sales of the cards
will benefit the JCC’s Senior
Meal Program. The order
deadline is January 12, 2018.
“Anyone can order Mah
Jongg cards through the
JCC,” says the Cindy Stein,
JCC director of adult and
senior programming. “It’s
very convenient and you’ll be helping to
support our senior program. You don’t
have to be a JCC member or play Mah
Jongg at the JCC to place an order.”
All card orders will be mailed by the
National Mah Jongg League directly to the
purchasers’ homes by mid-March. Card
purchasers will automatically receive a
one-year membership in the National Mah
Jongg League.
