Travel in comfort along Spurn in our unimog and
get to the top of the lighthouse. Children must be
accompanied by adults on all our family events; please
register both adults and children when booking
online. The Unimog is suitable for ages 4+ if able to
sit unaided. Children must also be able to ascend and
descend the lighthouse unaided.

The Flamborough Fire Festival is a Viking themed
parade, held on New Year’s Eve, in Flamborough - Home
of the Vikings! We welcome everyone including;
children, families and friends. It is an opportunity to
gather together to celebrate the Viking heritage of
Flamborough and raise funds for local community
groups and charities. The parade starts in the centre
of the village and features the Flamborough Fireballs,
Torches, Battle of Flamborough led by King Canute and
Viking Longship which is pulled through the village
streets by Viking Warriors! The parade finishes with a
Fireworks Spectacular held at midnight to celebrate
the New Year!

dropped from High Bridge in Knaresborough, and then
make their way downstream to the finish line outside

take part. Join free guided bird spotting walks

board at ‘basecamp’, and clipboards, pencils and
tick-sheets are provided. anyone who wants
to go off and birdwatch by themselves. No
