All Sickline attempts start with an idle moment online, debit<br />
card in hand. You pay a little over £100, which gets you entry<br />
to the race and events, as well as five meals, a tee-shirt a<br />
goody bag, free massage, race insurance and more. You tick<br />
the box that says you are an ‘expert grade five kayaker’ or<br />
something like that then, if you’re me at least, fool yourself<br />
that you’re going to do some ‘training’ before spending the<br />
rest of the summer farting about in your playboat at the<br />
Lee Valley Legacy course.<br />
