Meyers
Francis G.
Meyers “Frank,”
74, of Lockport, died Nov.
20. He was a member of St.
Dennis Church, Lockport
Moose Lodge #1557 and
was a United States Army
veteran. He was a Green Bay
Packers fan, an avid fisherman,
hunter and loved golf.
He loved to play and watch
baseball, basketball, football
and golf. He is survived by
his wife of 49 years Regetta
Meyers; his children Claudia
Meyers, Courtney (Brett)
McCullough and Frank
(Julie) Meyers; his grandchildren
Emma and Aidan
McCullough, Samantha and
Jack Meyers and numerous
cousins. Per Frank’s wishes,
cremation rites were respectfully
addressed. A memorial
gathering celebrating Frank’s
life was held Monday, Nov.
27 at St. Dennis Church,
Lockport. In lieu of flowers,

Josephine June Hostert,
78, of Lockport, died Nov.
21. She was a longtime
member of the women’s
auxiliary for the then allvolunteer
Homer Township
Fire Department. She was
an active member of the Will
County School District 92
band boosters. She enjoyed
cooking, gardening, reading
and crossword puzzles. She
is survived by three children,

McGrath; daughter-in-law
Jeanne Hostert; her grandchildren,
Annalyn Hostert,
Mary (Nick) Szalinski, Theresa

Joe Harvey; great-grandchildren
Gryffin Hefner, Dean
and Charlotte Szalinski; her
siblings Loretta Hadrys,

Richard (Beverly) Vodziak;
sisters-in-law Louise Morris

Funeral services were held
Monday, Nov. 27 at St. Joseph
Church, Lockport. In

the Morningstar Mission, the
Alzheimer’s Association or
Friend’s of Sunny Hill Nursing
