is engaged in the area of human rights monitoring, legal intervention, human rights<br />
education, campaigning, research and rehabilitation. It also undertakes human rights fact<br />
finding undertaken under our fundamental rights in Art 19 & 21 of the Indian<br />
Constitution, under the Fundamental Duties in Art 51(a) of the Indian Constitution,<br />
Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948 and under Art 6 and 13<br />
of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights and Responsibilities of Individuals,<br />
Group and Organs of Society to Promote and Protect Universally Recognized Human<br />
