General Meeting Minutes
November 21, 2017
The General Meeting was called to order by
President Andy Anderson at 6:34pm. Minutes
from the October meeting were read. Charlie
Fosnaugh made a motion to accept the
minutes as read. Mike Hayes seconded. Dick
Johnson gave the Treasurer’s report.
Tonight’s raffle brought in $300.00. Aimee
Parkin and Diane Tjerrild were the lucky $50
winners.
VP of Activities, Dick Danielsen went over the
last month’s many activities. December is a
busy month with Charlie’s Movie night,
Christmas Party hosted by the Garrisons and
Andersons, Charlotte’s Hayride event, ending
with Skip’s New Year’s Eve Lunch Run.
VP of Public Relations, Charlotte Renna passed
out ballots for our 2018 Board members.
Elected for a 2 nd term are; Andy Anderson,
President, Dick Danielsen, VP of Activities,
Terry Johnson, Secretary. Dick Johnson was
elected VP of Public Relations and joining the
Board is Darlene Derringer as Treasurer.
Charlotte then welcomed our newest
members, Charlie (#2) and Deb West. Since
Charlotte sponsored them, she is the recipient
of a $50 gift card to Yosemite Falls. Birthdays
totaled 413 years. Charlie Fosnaugh let us
know, there has been 670 hits on our website
and newsletter so far this month.
Chuck Laningham collected $4.00 in badge
fines. Debbie Garrison gave her sad
Sunshine report. Dave Dawson will be
placed in Hospice and Roy Whitson is in
and out of consciousness at St. Agnes
(Secretary’s note: Roy passed 11/28/17).
Art and Nancy White are headed home
from Texas. They will have completed
1800 miles with their boat when they
arrive. Looking forward to hearing the
stories at the Christmas Party.
Old Business: After a vote of donation
choices, Skip Severance made a motion to
donate $1000.00 to the Club’s favorite
charity this year, Make-A-Wish
Foundation. Aimee Parkin seconded. All
in favor. Skip will be presenting the gift in
the next week.
New Business: Diane Tjerrild
announced she will be collecting coats and
blankets again this year at our Christmas
Party, that will be passed on to Catholic
Charities.
Next Board meeting will be at Andy
Anderson’s home on November 28, 2017,
at 7pm. Charlie Fosnaugh made a motion
to adjourn the meeting at 7:30pm. Chuck
Laningham seconded.
