Garden Club
November 15 was the Highfields
Garden Club’s Christmas
lunch and final meeting for the
year at the Blue Mountain Hotel,
which was beautifully decorated
in a Christmas theme.
It was a very happy occasion,
attended by about 90 members,
who popped Christmas crackers,
donned party hats and generally
enjoyed the function.
The members donated to the
club’s chosen charity Yellow-
Bridge, a local not-for-profit organisation
that provides support
for the disadvantaged, disabled
and homeless in our community.
The first meeting for 2018
will be on February 21 at the
home of Elizabeth Macqueen,
Wirraglen Road, Highfields. -
