<strong>December</strong>. It’s the end of the year, the time<br />
when families travel across the world and<br />
celebrations begin. It all starts on UAE<br />
National Day (<strong>December</strong> 2) where the<br />
country will be marking its 46th anniversary, with<br />
fireworks and parades. Around this time, the Christmas<br />
tree goes up, carols start to play on the radio, and festive<br />
markets are in full swing.<br />
It’s also that time of year when stores are packed,<br />
online shopping is the most convenient, and<br />
e-commerce giants are elated with their steady ascent. Turn to page 16 to find<br />
out how some of the region’s online retail stores are thriving. We’re sure most<br />
of your time will be spent making gift-lists and hunting down the perfect items<br />
and experiences for your loved ones. To make the process stress-free, we’ve<br />
