Radcliffe Roadshow<br />
Radcliffe Founder, Paul Winicki, finds fame and treasures on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow.<br />
With a passion for antique American silver, Radcliffe’s very own Paul Winicki,<br />
has helped unknowing guests find treasures that have been hiding<br />
right under their noses on the PBS series Antiques Roadshow. Antiques<br />
Roadshow, which kicks off its 22nd season in 2018, is the 14-time Emmy®<br />
Award-nominated program and PBS’s most watched series.<br />
Paul has toured with the television show for 11 years. His expertise is in antique<br />
pocket watches and wristwatches, antique American Silver as well as<br />
furniture from the early 19th century to the early 20th century.<br />
Here’s a look at some of Paul’s finds on Antiques Roadshow.<br />
Georg Jensen Sterling Flatware, ca. 1930<br />
2010 value $10,000-$15,000 Retail<br />
A husband’s fear of flying has led this couple on<br />
many road trips. On one road trip in particular, the<br />
guests end up at a yard sale where they purchased<br />
a box of silverware for $25. Today, the entire set of<br />
Georg Jensen sterling flatware could retail between<br />
$10,000-$15,000. The owners claim they are no<br />
longer using their flatware for special occasions!<br />
18 Karat Gold Pocket Watch, ca. 1885<br />
2010 Value $25,000-$30,000 Retail<br />
A family-heirloom turns out to be a masterpiece<br />
of horology, supposedly made by the<br />
guest’s great, great, great-grandfather with<br />
Jules Jurgensen. Despite a disparity in the<br />
date in a letter accompanying the watch,<br />
the market value of the watch is between<br />
$25,000-$30,000.<br />
Patek Philippe Lady’s Watch Set, ca. 1900<br />
2011 Value $15,000-$20,000 Retail<br />
A grandmother’s watch has been locked in a safety<br />
deposit box for years. The Patek Philippe watch is<br />
encrusted with diamonds and would have been the<br />
statement piece of the 1900s. Paul estimates the<br />
value of the watch at $15,000-$20,000.<br />
Swiss Watch Collection, ca 1970<br />
2013 Value $46,000-$57,000 Retail<br />
A father’s watch collection is discovered in a<br />
cardboard box. The box contains watches by<br />
Patek Philippe, two Audemars Piguet watches, an<br />
18-karat gold Blancpain, a Cartier Santos and a<br />
Rolex DateJust. The guest was anticipating a value<br />
of a couple thousand dollars. Paul reveals that the<br />
box contains between $46,000 to $57,000 worth of<br />
watches!<br />

A scuba-diver buys a Rolex watch in Jamaica back<br />
in 1972 for $129.00. With the cult following of the<br />
“Red-Sub” the Rolex was appraised at $15,000-<br />
$17,000!<br />
