takes the holidays to a whole new level of cool! A skilled team of<br />
master ice carvers has charted your course for your journey through<br />

through the beautiful Houston Zoo and take in the sights and sounds of<br />
the season. Enjoy festive carols, sip hot chocolate and take in the more<br />

football playoffs will be on inside SpindleTap Brewery’s bar for football<br />
fans. There will be another hot pepper eating contest with cash prize.<br />

<strong>January</strong> 13 th - Annual MLK Youth Parade. Over 20 high school marching<br />
bands, 10 parade floats and various performers make up the MLK Youth<br />
Parade. The event is broadcast nationwide, but spectators can attend<br />
this parade and witness the powerful music firsthand. The event is at<br />
12 Noon and located in Midtown on San Jacinto Street at Elgin Street.<br />

<strong>January</strong> 14 th - Annual MLK Battle of the Bands Competition features<br />
more than 20 accredited high school marching bands competing. Spend<br />

<strong>January</strong> 15 th - Annual MLK Grande Parade. The MLK Grand Parade is one<br />
of the largest single day multicultural events in the U.S. held in honor<br />

<strong>January</strong> 18 th - The Woodlands Taste of the Town is a paradise for<br />
