It's a dog's life, by Lottie "Our Golden Girl"
I've been here at Golden Times since last summer
and I've been busy getting the humans dog-trained.
At first I think it was a bit of a shock for them,
making sure they got my
food on time, played with me
enough and cleaning up after
me quickly, but they got the
hang of it after a couple of
weeks. Humans can be quite
difficult to train, and there
were a few early tantrums,
but now this bunch are
starting to behave themselves
nicely.
Before I came here I didn't
know what a magazine was,
I've had a good chew on three or four recently,
and they're great. I am now an expert on making
a magazine as I've watched the big human do it.
There's a big silver thing in the corner of one of the
rooms that shows pictures. You sit in front of that
and make tapping noises on a little plastic thing for
hours. Sometimes you get upset and say bad human
words at the silver light thing, and a few weeks later,
the magazines arrive in boxes that smell funny. That's
all there is to it. Amazing isn't it ?
For those of you who don't know, I am a Shih-Tzu,
which means that my ancestors lived in a palace
with the Chinese Royal family.
Technically, I am royalty and
incredibly important, though
I wish someone would point
this out to the fox who keeps
coming into MY garden and
having a poo! The cheek of it!
So anyway, the humans
here want you humans out
there, to send in photos of
your pets. Dogs, cats, birds,
lizards, fish, whatever. They
know lots of you love your
pets so here's a chance to make them nearly as
famous as me! You can also get in touch if you'd
like to advertise your business to pet owners too.
Whatever "advertising" is...

co.uk" and your messages will appear on her laptop
which is a warm flat thing that is really good to lie on
when you need a few hours sleep.
