The crime, which took place in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road, was reported at 7:01 a.m. on Dec. 17. According to the Glenview Police Department, the burglar entered the first store, which was closed for remodeling, and then used a ladder and hammer to break through the drywall near the ceiling tiles. Once inside the second business, however, the burglar triggered an alarm. The reported loss is $600 in damages, but nothing was stolen. Dec. 15 • A 17-year-old male juvenile from Chicago was petitioned to juvenile court for theft and aggravated identity theft at 11:49 a.m. in the 3800 block of Willow Road. • A 17-year-old female juvenile was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and speeding (15-20 mph over limit) at 9:14 p.m. in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue. • A customer intentionally education student who had illuminated so many of their lives. Troglia was pronounced dead on Dec. 15 after experiencing what Superintendent Paul Sally described as “a medical emergency” in a letter to parents. Sacred Heart was a beautiful setting. Three large pictures of a smiling Troglia were placed in the front of the church facing the congregation and four lighted Christmas trees flanked the altar. During the service, on the last page of the hymnal, the four family spilled coffee onto another patron at 9:25 a.m. in the 1800 block of Tower Drive. • Christmas lights were damaged at 8 a.m. in the 2500 block of West Lake Avenue. The reported loss is $50. Dec. 14 • A wallet was stolen from a locker at 11:42 a.m. in the 3800 block of Willow Road. The reported loss is $700. • Counterfeit bills were used to make a purchase at 5:19 p.m. in the 1700 block of Milwaukee Avenue. The reported loss is $60. Dec. 13 • The back entrance of a residence was forced open at 11:25 a.m. in the 100 block of Washington Street. The reported loss is $40.00. • A residence was entered without permission at 3:14 p.m. in the 2000 block of Trent Court. Isabel Guadarama, 32, of Chicago, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Trail Blazer northbound on Harlem Avenue near Linneman Street at approximately 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a parkway tree, according to the Glenview Police Department. Guadarama was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where she was pronounced dead at 12:37 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20. She was the only person in the vehicle. Man charged with possession, dissemination of child porn Chris Pullam, Editor A Chicago man was arrested for the possession and dissemination of child pornography. Raymond Powell T. Claussen Claussen, 28, was charged with two counts of dissemination of child pornography and three counts of possession of child pornography. Investigations into two cybertips by the Glenview Police Department, in conjunction with the Cook County Internet From dec. 22 From dec. 22 Crimes Against Children task force, revealed Claussen possessed several child pornographic images and videos on his computer and used the internet to distribute child pornographic material, according to authorities. Claussen turned himself in to the Glenview Police Department at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21. He was held overnight pending bond hearing at the 2nd District Cook County Courthouse on Friday, Dec. 22.
