By using my innate ability to translate the body’s physical messages and the mind’s core belief patterns, I assist my clients in setting realistic strategies and navigating inevitable obstacles so my clients achieve success and healing in the area of their choosing. What is the history of your business? I started teaching yoga in 2003 at Gold’s Gym in Las Vegas, Nevada, and quickly began working one-on-one with private clients in the Las Vegas Valley. I found that in addition to instructing yoga, I was also coaching clients about life, based upon yogic principles. It wasn’t until moving to CT in 2008 that I began to develop my “superpower” of reading the body’s physical symptoms and correlating that to emotional and energetic components that were holding my clients back from success and/or healing. Now, my business is based upon not only yogic philosophy but my intuitive abilities to see within my clients what exactly they need to heal in their minds and belief systems in order to heal their lives. What brought you into this line of work? The Savasana or Corpse Pose. The last two minutes of any yoga practice. I became a gym rat when my daughter was born because Gold’s would take her for two whole hours! (We had been kicked out of two previous gym daycares due to her loud squall of crying!) It was at Gold’s that I noticed a group class that was laying on mats in the dark as if they were sleeping. I wanted THAT peace and quiet. So I started taking the class, plopping my mat in front of the clock on the wall, working my way through poses for 88 minutes just to get that last two minutes of peace in the dark. I quickly realized that I was a better mom and wife when I was relaxed and less stressed. What’s the philosophy behind your business? The physical body is NOT only a mirror for what is going on emotionally and energetically, but it also mirrors your external life, relationships, career, etc. So if I can help someone facilitate the healing in the emotional and energetic body, then physical symptoms are most often alleviated, and so is the chaos in their Life. Truly, if you can heal the body, you can heal your life. What is your biggest inspiration in life or in your job? What do you enjoy most about the business? My favorite part of my job is teaching Vision Board workshops locally and afar. I help women to see what they are truly capable of when they let go of fear. My biggest inspiration is seeing clients push through their fears and actually go after what they want, what they see for themselves. Award winning beers hand crafted on site. You only get one shot at this, and the world needs you healthy and living your purpose. Tell us about yourself and family — kids, pets, other involvement in the community. I have been married 19 years to my Love, Mark Fiorentino. We have two kids: Gage, who is a freshman at UConn, and Ellie, who is a sophomore at Granby Memorial High School. We have three cats, two dogs and my horse Kizzy, who is the best horse ever. We all fell in love with Granby after moving here from Las Vegas. Our whole family is involved in the community, be it Gage and Ellie doing church mission trips, or Mark sitting on the board of Holcomb Farm and the Granby Board of Education. I have volunteered my time teaching yoga to GMHS sports teams, brought yoga and Vision Board workshops to Granby Youth Services, and taught a weekly yoga class at Parish Hall in East Hartland for the past seven years. We moved here from Vegas to simplify our lives, be part of a community, and grow closer as a family — and Granby has enabled us to do ALL of that.
