THE A CAPPELLA SING-
ERS, based in Natick, is a women’s
chorus which sings both
accompanied and a cappella
music. We welcome prospective
new members who have prior
choral experience and/or can
read music in all parts (Soprano
I, Soprano II, Alto I and Alto II)
to join us at our open rehearsals
on Monday evenings, January 8,
15 and 22 from 7-9 p.m. at the
Fisk Memorial United Methodist
Church, 106 Walnut Street,
Natick. ACS is a dues-paying,
non-profit organization.
ACS was formed in 1964 as
part of the Natick Newcomer’s
Club and consists of members
from many towns and many
walks of life, all with a common
love of vocal music. Our spring
concert is on Saturday, May 5.

Third Annual TEDxNatick January 20
The third annual TEDx-
Natick event will take place on
January 20, 2018, at Natick
High School from 10 a.m. to
3:30 p.m. With continued support
from MathWorks as the lead
sponsor, this year’s preliminary

Juan Enriquez, Futurist - Juan
is an author, venture investor,
and business leader who speaks
widely about the impact of life
sciences on the future of humanity.
He co-founded Synthetic Genomics
with J. Craig Venter and
serves on many corporate boards.
He has written books including
Evolving Ourselves: Redesigning
the Future of Humanity
– One Gene at a Time, which
describes how humans increasingly
