PERSONAL STATEMENT
Creativity is a powerful skill, an intriguing
ability evolving from our originalities and
personal perspective.
Winston Churchill once mentioned, “we
shape our building, thereafter, they shape
us”. Personally, I strongly believed that
these buildings personify and embody the
diverse cultures that exist today in the society,
reflecting the power and endless potential
of man’s creation.
It is my passion for architecture that acts as
a catalyst for inspiration and therefore provides
me with a prominent sense of ambition
and desire.
Pursuing architecture studies has given me
the opportunity to learn to appreciate the
aesthetic beauty of buildings in the world
today. The insightful demonstration has allowed
my passion to evolve further, hence
determining my ambition to be an architect.
I believe that as an architect, my creative
potential will be challenged. As an effect,
architecture is a potent, influential force in
my life that has given me a sense of living
meaning. I agree with the ideology that an
individual will rarely exceed his own expectation,
however, architecture installs in me
a belief that I can achieve and reach higher
target, therefore acting as a foundation for
my success and fulfilment in the future.
