London-born visual artist Rachel Osbourne works are greatly<br />
influenced by lines, geometric styles and vibrant colors. She is<br />
constantly inspired by architectural structures within her environment<br />
and personal travels. Rachel likes to be playful with her compositions<br />
and create hues that explore energy and emotions against the<br />
structured but fragmented shapes and lines.<br />
When I think of pathways and <strong>crossings</strong> I gather thoughts of a personal<br />
journey and the emotional elements that are entailed in a person’s<br />
journey and how different emotions and experiences can merge<br />
together and unfold memories. (Crossings of emotions and experiences;<br />
layers of personal encounters that form our individuality).<br />
I also think of things that are sentimental to us whether it is through<br />
what we see, touch, feel, for example our environment, culture and<br />
values. Identity also comes to mind, as what we experience through our<br />
emotions and experiences becomes a significant part of us and our<br />
make-up.
