BEST BUDDIES MASQUERADE GALA
AND FASHION SHOW
Reagan Kallina and Alyssa Tran represented Seven Lakes High
School Best Buddies at the Best Buddies Masquerade Gala
and Fashion show held in downtown Houston in November.
They walked the runway wearing fashions provided by
Elaine Turner. The event brought in over $230,000 - money
that will be used to help Best Buddies Texas expand in local
elementary schools, middle schools and high schools in 2018.
Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated
to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of
the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental
disabilities (IDD). For more information and how to become

FO1 VOLLEYBALL
Coming off the heels of their victory at the AAU National Championships in
Orlando last season, FO1 Volleyball’s 15 Black Team came away with another
victory at the FAST Warm Up Tournament here in Houston. This was the first
tournament of the year and our local girls came away with seven straight victories
to finish in first place.
