WRITING TASK – DESCRIBING AN INVENTION
With your group, you are going to fill in a form on the following page describing the invention
you chose. Follow the steps:
a) Get together with your group and collect all your previous writing activities (the ones you
produced in the Preparation for the writing task 1, 2 and 3).
b) What invention did you choose?
c) Go back to the text about the Q Drum in Situated Learning 7. What are the characteristics of a
descriptive form? Answer in Portuguese.
d) After writing your first draft, show your form to other groups and to your teacher. They will help
you improve your text.
e) Make the necessary changes and write the final version. Remember to bring a picture
or drawing of the invention to illustrate your text.
