NORTHWEST FLYERS YOUTH TRACK CLUB<br />

HOLDS REGISTRATION FOR 31 ST SEASON<br />

The Northwest Flyers Youth Track Club will celebrate its 31 st<br />

Anniversary Season by hosting its annual free Registration/<br />

Orientation breakfast on Saturday, <strong>February</strong> 3, <strong>2018</strong>, for all boys<br />

and girls who are interested in joining for the <strong>2018</strong> track season. The<br />

breakfast starts promptly at 8:30 AM at the <strong>Cypress</strong> Creek Christian<br />

Community Center Forum located at 6823 <strong>Cypress</strong>wood Dr., Spring,<br />

TX, 77379.<br />

The event is an opportunity for youth athletes to register for the<br />

<strong>2018</strong> spring/summer track season and to meet the Northwest Flyers<br />

coaches, staff and other new and returning athletes. The event will<br />

be highlighted by a special presentation from a member of the USA<br />

Track &Field Olympic organization (USATF). All athletes and parents<br />

who wish to join the Northwest Flyers must attend the orientation.<br />

The Northwest Flyers Track Club is a youth (ages 6 -18) track club,<br />

affiliated with USA Track & Field (USATF), that provides a full<br />

program of sanctioned “track” events such as sprints, hurdles,<br />

middle distance, distance and relays and sanctioned “field” events<br />

such as long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put,<br />

discus and javelin.<br />

In order to register, athletes must first attend one of the orientation<br />

sessions in late March/early April <strong>2018</strong>, which are listed on the<br />

team website at www.northwestflyers.org.<br />

FC CYPRESS SOCCER CLUB REGISTRATION OPEN<br />

In its third season, FC <strong>Cypress</strong> Soccer Club is now accepting registration for<br />

ages 7-13. FC <strong>Cypress</strong> Soccer Club was founded by <strong>Cypress</strong> resident and former<br />

professional player Marc Castillo, who grew up playing competitive soccer in<br />

Bear Creek and Houston.<br />

During the Spring Season, practices will be held at Ollin Sports Therapy, 16636<br />

House Hahl Rd in <strong>Cypress</strong> and games will be played at Salem Lutheran Church,<br />

22601 Lutheran Church Rd in Tomball. Players can enter one of three different<br />

programs, depending on their age and level of commitment. To register or for<br />

SPRING SOCCER SIGN UPS - CY-FAIR/MAGNOLIA/<br />

TOMBALL/SPRING KLEIN REGISTRATION - NOW OPEN!<br />

Registration for Fun, Fair, Positive Soccer (FFPS) is open for boys and girls ages 4<br />

to 18 for the SPRING Season. Games start on April 7, <strong>2018</strong>. FFPS is a non-profit<br />

youth soccer program dedicated to providing a positive youth sports experience<br />

for all children. Founded in 1986 in Katy, Texas, FFPS has grown to 22 leagues<br />

and 16,000 players throughout the Greater Houston area. FFPS offers children<br />

a fun and fair experience, including one practice per week, a full uniform and<br />

trophy for every player, equal playing time and play every position, co-ed/<br />

balanced teams, positive coaching and more. No tryouts are required.<br />
