MESSAGE FROM YOUR HOA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Greetings fellow homeowners:
We hope that all of you had a safe and enjoyable holiday season. 2017 was
a busy year for your HOA. Improvements were made in the fitness room
of 7 new windows, upgrading the access control unit to the fitness room,
upgrade and new security cameras at Cypress Mill II and Cypress Mill I as
well the tennis/basketball area. The completion of the remodeling of the
restrooms at Cypress Mill I. The repairs where needed and power washing
of Cypresswood Drive and Cypress Mill Park fence line.
Currently new doors will be installed, if not already at the clubhouse and
the fitness room door that is in dire need of an upgrade. The clubhouse
doors will have an access control unit in place for entry.
Visit with Santa was a complete success this past 2017 season with earlier
hours. A special thank-you goes out to all the volunteers who help make
this event a success.
The Easter egg hunt event will be on March 31, 2018 at 8:30 AM to 11 AM.
Come out and join us at the clubhouse there will be a DJ, Easter bunny
bring your camera for photos, train rides and more.
If you would like to volunteer for any of the existing events/celebrations,
please contact our assistant community manager, Angela Rivera.
At the next annual meeting, there will be HOA Board positions becoming
open in April. If you are interested in serving our community and would like
to run for a position on the HOA Board, please contact Emma Deatherage
for more information. Our community managers handle the day-to-day
operations of the neighborhood under the direction of the HOA Board. If
you have a special interest in our neighborhood, now is the time to act and
become a part of the HOA Board.
Spring is just around the corner so don’t forget a little TLC for your yards;
fertilize your grass to encourage healthy new growth.

INVESTMENTS BY DEVELOPING A CONSISTENT
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
By doing some simple preventative maintenance, you can extend the life
of your home and minimize costly repairs.
Painting - It is important to put a good coat of paint on your home which
may mean painting every three to five years on an average, depending
on the quality of the paint. Painting obviously improves the appearance
of your home and protects your wood or hardiplank from the elements
reducing rot. Don’t forget your ACC application along with paint color
samples, which must be processed and approved first!
Power washing - Take a walk around your property. If you see green
or black mildew on your home and driveway, you can power wash the
mildew off your gutters, home exterior, driveway and sidewalk. This small
step of maintenance can keep your property looking well maintained.
Gutters - Gutters need to be cleaned out on a regular basis. This time
of year they fill up with pine needles and leaves. If the gutters are full of
