Mike Ross THE COACH The head coach sets the tone for the new season ahead... Welcome back to Peffermill for the 2018 SWPL season. After a small break and a variety of games in pre-season we are looking forward to starting the season as we welcome our Edinburgh neighbours Heart of Midlothian. This year I expect to see the most competitive SWPL 2 yet, and we are looking forward to the challenge. The set up between the University of Edinburgh and Hutchison Vale continues to grow from strength to strength and as a result we have maintained all players who finished the season last year. We also continue to work behind the scenes to improve the environment and we are excited to see the new 3G being built as this will help us strive towards having the best training facilities in Edinburgh for players to develop. I would like to say thanks to Tom Connor for his work with EUWAFC and HV the last 2 years - he put in many hours work to help move this project forward. I would also like to say thanks to the supporters for their continued backing last season and for the season ahead. We continue to look for sponsors and volunteer support so please get in touch if you can help or know anyone who can assist. Women’s football continues to grow and all the best to everyone for the season ahead. @euhvfootball 7
