Aye was a little bear.<br />
She wasn’t just any old bear; she was a<br />
very special little bear, because she was<br />
born of love, sorrow, and joy.<br />
Aye’s story begins in China, in a toy maker’s workshop.<br />
The toy maker’s name was Wang Xui Lan,<br />
which means ‘Elegant Orchid’.<br />
She was a warm-hearted woman, with soft<br />
brown eyes, and far too many worry lines<br />
above her troubled brow.
