QSR BRANDS DONATES FIVE TONS OF FOOD TO ROHINGYA REFUGEES 12<br />
As part of its CSR initiatives, QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd has participated in the Malaysia Humanitarian Mission for<br />
Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh by contributing five tonnes of canned food worth RM50K to ease the pain of the<br />
refugees. The contributed items consist of Ayamas canned chicken curry and Ayamas Kitchen’s canned sardines. The<br />
contribution shows the company's steadfast commitment to help the mistreated people of Rohingya and assist them in<br />
times of distress.<br />
The Halal Malaysia Humanitarian Mission for Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh is a mission organized by HDC (The Halal<br />
Industry Development Corporation), whereby a 20 ton cargo containing basic items raised from the contribution of various<br />
Halal companies in Malaysia will soon be flown to the affected Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. This mission is expected<br />
to be completed by 31 December 2017.
