LG equips consumers with winter friendly products
By our reporter
Technology and
creative thinking
have been used to
make winter tolerable
and innovators are
caring for this tradition in
new ways. Consumers now
rely more on technology
during this time of the year
than any other. This results
in higher energy costs during
winter than any other
season. Whether it translates
to more time in front
of the TV or running the
heater nonstop, everyone
definitely would be able to
relate to how the winter season
makes them all reliant
more on technology.
The winter season is a
special one that requires
special attention in all areas
of human endeavor. The adverse
effect of the winter on
humans can be reduced to
the barest minimum if adequate
care and measures
are put in place to check
it, the season could be an
enjoyable one for all.
LG Electronics says it has
made sufficient provision
for its teeming consumers
in readiness for the winter
with its numerous cuttingedge
innovative products.
Winter is a yearly occurrence
and as such people
should prepare adequately
for it.
“Consumers should not
entertain any kind of fear
or worry themselves on
how they would cope with
the winter season because
LG has in stock innovative
user-friendly products designed
to cater for their individual
and collective needs
during the winter season
and thereafter,’’ Taeick Son,
managing director, LG Electronics
West Africa operations.
‘‘We boast of eco-friendly
products suitable enough
for smart homes, that is
what we are offering our
highly esteemed consumers
during this season.”
According to the company,
LG Twinwash and
Styler solutions would be
very useful during winter
as it provides viable alternatives
to professional clothing
care.
‘‘It is that time of the year
when consumers make use
of thick coats, wool sweaters
and loads of thermal underwear
meant to protect them
against the cold weather. LG
Twinwash has the capacity
to handle two separate
loads simultaneously, allowing
users to conveniently
wash winter accessories
such as hats and gloves in
the mini washer seamlessly.
‘‘The LG Styler is a musthave
for consumers during
winter season because of
its ability to handle wool
materials that ordinarily
cannot be washed in water.
Interestingly, styler prevents
fabric damage by ensuring
the delicate treatment of
clothing materials with its
freshness intact.’’
The season has been
associated with increasing
number of sporting activities,
winter Olympics
being the most popular
one amongst many others
around the world.
‘‘Lovers of sporting activities
who might not be there
physically due to the bad
weather condition need not
worry because our OLED
TV will deliver the actions
directly to their respective
living rooms with lifelike
images in bolder colours
and unrivalled picture quality.
‘‘OLED TV has been
reputed for ushering in a
new era in home viewing
experiences. The viewing
angle is very accommodating
with each viewer catching
a glimpse of the actions
without any dull moment.
There is no doubt watching
in person and watching on
TV are two completely different
things but advancement
in TV technology has
helped to close the gap.’’
Consumers can no longer
be boxed to the corner
in terms of catching up with
their favourite sports this
season with live streamlining
of events on mobile
devices.
‘‘LG G6 and V30 both
have the capacity to meet
the consumers’ need. V30
for instance comes with
6-inch 18:9 full vision display
while G6 on the other
hand has a 5.7-inch immersive
full vision display
that supports Dolby Vision
and HDR 10.’’
The screen of these innovative
products is to ensure
that consumers do not miss
a single bit of the sporting
moment with utmost clarity.
Artificial Intelligence
(AI) platforms and smart
technology would continue
to play a pivotal role in shaping
the greater part of modern
day life. LG Hub Robots
already operates within
this space which is perfect
for every home during the
winter season.
LG continue to up the
game for its consumers in
and out of seasons without
necessarily losing sight of its
responsibility to meet the
ever growing needs of consumers
in a unique and satisfying
manner with cutting
edge innovative designs.
