North Ryde cricketers raise $11,156 for McGrath Foundation
NORTH Ryde RSL’s cricket fraternity padded up for a great cause
last weekend - raising over $11,000 for the McGrath Foundation at
the club’s annual Pink Stumps Charity Day.

a 31-31 over charity
match at North Ryde
RSL Youth Oval.
The day proved a
huge success with Jo
Furness’ team - led by
her talented sons Matthew
and Billy - claiming
victory with eight
balls remaining.
Classy knocks from
Shane Bell (36 not out),
Pat Gough (31), Matt
Furness (30) and Rory
Bresnahan (22) helped
Team Furness register
8-210 to eclipse their
opponents’ tally of 208.
Bell capped a fine display
with the bat by hitting
the winning runs in
a thrilling finale
